Winter?

This weather has been absolutely horrible lately. It is literally the middle of December but the weather has a different idea. Today's weather was cold, rainy, windy, and did I mention cold? When the wind blew the rain down my jacket I got cold chills all over my body. 

I just want it to snow because it is supposed to be winter! What happened to white tree tops, and sparkly snow all over the ground, and icicles on the sides of houses? All I see is mud soup on the ground and dreary gray clouds in the sky. The fact that winter is so late this year and I've seen ONE snowfall this whole winter, makes me afraid of how many spring months winter will go into....
