An Apple a Day

The saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." was never really a saying I followed faithfully. Today being national apple day, and me being sick, can't be coincidental. Obviously, I am sick because I haven't been having an apple every day. I never knew I would have to take this saying so literally... 

I know it says an "apple" a day.... 

But does apple cider count? I mean, it literally says apple.. Mhm. I happen to know a really good place to find some really good apple cider...
